Rainbow Beanie

I've been visiting wool shop Wondoflex for a few years now, first starting out with buying felting supplies. Little did I know that all this time I have been ignorant of their sale room out the back. Open on Friday's and Saturday's they have quite a big range of wools with a lot of them from different places around the world.
So I poked around, willing to buy a few balls of something and then figure out what I wanted to make. So I found a few balls of Arte by Filtes from Italy.

I really need some beanies at the moment so I thought this would be perfect. Using the Meret pattern from Woolly Wormhead (also on Ravelry) that has been sitting in my To-Do pile, I started to knit and was a bit shocked at how "rainbow" the wool is. I'm not sure how I feel about wearing that much of the rainbow when my usual palette is limited to the tonal range of black. We'll see how it goes...
